Today was much better as far as mileage. We rode a little over 500 miles today. We are now in Fort Carson, Colorado. We had beautiful weather today mid 80's and mostly sunny! After arriving at our cabin at the KOA, we decided to unload our stuff and ride 6 miles down the road to visit the AIFF Firefighter's Memorial. Took some great pictures there. I'm glad we were able to visit today on 9/11 to pay our respects to our fallen firefighters. Especially on the 10th anniversary. Also, called my Stepmom in Tennessee to wish her a Happy Birthday. It really hits you when you actually see someone's name on the memorial wall that you briefly worked with. RIP Christopher Wheatley.
