Another beautiful day! Today Tuesday, September 13th we visited Mesa Verdi National Park and Four Corners Monument.
We put around 175 miles on today.

| Mesa Verdi National Park, Colorado |
The Anasazi Indians made this their home
sometime around the year 700 AD.
They are known as "The Cliff Dwellers" and we happened to come up upon their ruins. It was really cool to see how they lived back then.

| This is where they lived. |
Here are a few photos of "dwellings" if you will.
We also visited Four Corners which is where you can stand in all four states of Utah, Colorado, Arizona and New Mexico.
That is pretty cool! How lucky are you to be able to be seeing all of those cool spots along your trip. Can't wait to hear all about it when you get back. Be safe and have fun!
ReplyDeleteThanks Jess! This trip is way more than I expected! People just don't realize what is out there.
